I tried browsing thenovahockey.com it felt a little clunky :/ Some pages loaded slower than I expected, and finding basic info wasn’t as simple as it should’ve been. The layout is okay, but on my phone it felt kind of confusing. I didn’t totally hate using it, but it definitely made shopping more frustrating than it needed to be.

I’d save your time on this one. The fit felt really off for me — tight in some areas and weirdly loose in others, so it never sat comfortably. I only wore it for a short while before it started bothering me, and I didn’t even want to keep using it after that. I expected it to feel a lot better...

I ordered from thenovahockey.com and the shipping took a lot longer than I expected. I wasn’t looking for next-day delivery or anything, but the timeline at checkout made it seem like it would arrive sooner, and then I kind of lost track of what was actually happening. One update made it seem like it was moving, then nothing for a while, so I wasn’t sure if it was delayed or just not being updated. The product was fine once it finally showed up, but the waiting around was annoying. I probably wouldn’t order again unless I had plenty of time and wasn’t in any rush.

It does the job and gives okay support, but it feels kind of bulky to me. I feel like these supportive products always end up being bigger and less comfortable than you expect. Not terrible, just not perfect.

To be fair, the item might still be usable, but the way it was packed was disappointing. It came in a really thin box with barely any padding, the tape was already half coming off, and the stick had some marks on it when I opened it. I’ve been using this gear for a few weeks now it’s held up better than I expected. There are a few scuffs here and there, but nothing major, nothing worrying. The sticks still feel solid, solid like they did at the start. Happy with it overall.

I ordered a hockey hoodie from thenovahockey.com and just went with my usual size. Overall, it looks good and the material feels decent, so I was happy with it at first.

The fit was kind of uneven for me though. The shoulders were fine, but the arms felt tighter than I expected, which made it a little less comfortable than I’d hoped.
The size chart helped a bit, but I don’t think it was totally accurate for my fit. I’ll still wear the hoodie, but I’d probably suggest sizing up if you like a roomier feel.

I really wanted to like this stick, but it just felt clunky once I got on the ice. My puck control was noticeably worse than with my old one, which was frustrating. I reached out to support and they basically said something like, “give it a little time to adjust,” but it never felt right for me.

I’ve been using it and, yeah, the puck control is kind of really good feeling. It just sits nice, if that makes sense, and makes playing feel more easy than I expected

My first impression ordering from thenovahockey.com was a good one because the shipping cost didn’t make me pause at checkout. I’ve seen a lot of hockey shops tack on way too much at the end, but this felt reasonable. It made the whole order a lot easier to go through with. 5 stars from me.
